The country’s largest state-owned bank has given a big shock to its customers. Crores of people across the country have accounts with State Bank of India (SBI). Along with this, many customers also use debit cards. So if you also have an SBI debit card related charges , be sure to know about the upcoming changes. State Bank of India has changed the annual maintenance charges associated with certain debit cards. In such cases, the new maintenance charges for SBI Debit Card will be applicable from 1st April 2024. Find out which debit cards will incur annual maintenance charges. 18% GST is applicable on SBI Debit Card in addition to annual maintenance charges.

Classic Debit Card : 
Under this, the annual maintenance fee for cards including Classic, Silver, Global, Contactless Debit cards has been increased from the existing Rs.125 + GST to Rs.200 + GST.

Yuva and other cards:
The annual maintenance fee for Yuva, Gold, Combo Debit Card, My Card (Image Card) has been increased from the existing Rs.175 + GST to Rs.250/+ GST.

Platinum Debit Card:
The annual maintenance fee for SBI Platinum Debit Card has been increased from the current Rs.250 + GST to Rs.325 + GST.

Premium business debit card:
The annual maintenance fee for SBI debit cards like Pride Premium Business Debit Card has been reduced from Rs 350 + GST to Rs 425 + GST.

Credit card changes too:
SBI Card has also made some changes in its credit card. SBI Cards said reward points on rent payment transactions will be suspended for certain credit cards from April 1, 2024. Additionally, accrual of reward points on rent payment transactions for certain credit cards will end on April 15, 2024.
