Kya hota hai AFSPA :
Notably, the AFSPA empowers personnel of the armed forces, who are working in disturbed areas, to lock up, arrest and fire if necessary for the “maintenance of public order”. An area or district is declared disturbed under AFSPA to facilitate the operation of armed forces.

Farooq-Mehbooba has no right to speak on terrorism During the interview, Shah targeted opposition leaders Farooq Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti. Shah said that both the leaders have no right to speak on terrorism. As many fake encounters have happened in their time, they have never happened. Not a single fake encounter has taken place in the last five years. Rather, an FIR has been registered against those involved in the fake encounters. We will talk with the youth of Kashmir and not with organizations that have their roots in Pakistan.
